What is Arts-Integrated Education?

At ArtSpace Charter School students learn core content subjects (math, language arts, science and social studies) through the arts (dance, drama, music and visual art). Academic skills and concepts are applied and experienced in artistic contexts. Arts Integration allows students to explore their acquired knowledge and skills, while providing teachers the opportunity to authentically assess student learning.
