Our Board of Directors:

The Partnership for Arts at the Core of Education (P.A.C.E. Inc.) Board of Directors is the governing body of ArtSpace Charter School. We're an open board, and while the open meeting laws of the state of NC govern the way we work, we strive to involve the ArtSpace community in every way possible!

The P.A.C.E. Inc. board sets and enforces policy for the operation of the school at the highest level by working with the director. The board also works to secure the school's financial future, hires the staff, sees to the proper administration and maintenance of facilities, organizes the committee and community structure, and works to support the great teaching that happens at ArtSpace. ArtSpace board meetings are open to the public and visitors are welcome.

Board Members Needed!

We do need new board members. ArtSpace is still pretty new and not everyone knows of our school or our concept. Since we very much want to develop strong ties with our local communities, we would welcome any individuals who are well established and connected within the Asheville and Black Mountain area communities. Of course, parents are welcome, but you don't have to be a parent to serve. Please contact us for information about how to serve.

Board Meeting

The Board of Directors normally holds meetings on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.in the technology room (north wing) of the school. Visitors are always welcome!
