Camp Connect 2025

ArtSpace will provide summer programs this year. The school has applied for a grant to help fund our summer program, though there will not be a funding decision or award until April. We know families need to plan for summer and so do we! So, we are developing two plans for programs, with or without the grant!

"Camp Connect" started in 2022 through the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, awarded to ArtSpace Charter School and Franklin School of Innovation. It was a wildly successful summer program for both schools and our families. ArtSpace will continue the structure and rich program offerings that made Camp Connect such a blast!

Camp Connect includes academic support in reading and math, and offers enrichment opportunities in the arts, technology, and experiential learning, in line with our school’s rich arts integrated mission.

Basic Summer Programming

If we do not receive the grant funding, we will offer a fee-based summer program. Scholarship assistance will be available based on need.

 

Costs

  • $175/week for full-day programming (9 am - 3:30 pm)
  • $25/week for before & aftercare programming (8 - 5 pm)

 

Weeks of Programming

  • June 16-20 - Registration Week 1*
  • June 23-27 - Registration Week 2
  • June 30- July 3 (No camp on July 4th) - Registration Week 3
*Note: Register each student individually. Each week has its own separate registration link. Sign up is capped at 60 students. All others will be added to a wait list.

BONUS Expanded Summer Programming

If we do receive grant funding, the program will be free and open to students who were enrolled at ArtSpace Charter School during the 2024-25 school year. If ArtSpace is awarded the grant, we will send information to families and open registration for the additional weeks.

The program will follow the same schedule as our basic summer program, but we will provide two additional weeks. We will also have expanded enrichment opportunities, including field trips and visiting artists. We are very excited about our community partners and we truly hope we receive the funding to bring this to life!
